Luke 16:10-11
10 “One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much. 11 If then you have not been faithful in the unrighteous wealth, who will entrust to you the true riches?
As I ponder this, I recognize my need to be faithful in little things, even obeying the speed limit when others are going faster. My whole life needs to be governed by this theme. If I don’t think small things matter, that I can slip by with little discrepancies in honesty, then how can I serve the Lord or others in more “important” matters? The Lord will entrust me with greater ministry only when I have served with honor in small ways.
