God's Attributes — Eternal—without beginning, without end, and never passing away

God is eternal, He had no beginning, and He will have no end.

Everything in creation moves through time—but God is eternal. He doesn’t fade, change, or run out. That is the comfort and glory of God’s eternity.

God’s eternality means He has no beginning, no end, and no expiration point. Everything in creation has a starting point and moves through time moment by moment. We were born, we grow, we age, and our lives are measured in days and years. But God is not like that. He never began to exist, and He will never stop existing. He is from everlasting to everlasting. Time does not carry God along the way it carries us. He is not trapped by the clock, surprised by the future, or diminished by the past.

And this builds naturally on what comes before it. If God is infinite, then He is not limited by space, power, wisdom, or being. Eternality shows that He is also not limited by time. His life does not run out. His existence does not unfold in weakness or decay. He remains the same God through every age because He stands above time as its Creator and Lord. That means when everything around us changes, God does not fade, weaken, or disappear. He is always fully God—unchanging in His being, endless in His life, and constant in His presence. That is the glory of God’s eternality.
